Important Information for Customers

Please read before purchasing:

Our pod units do not qualify for a standard building permit because the internal ceiling height is 2.25m, while the minimum requirement for a building permit is 2.4m.

 

However, there is an alternative:

• Storage room

• Backyard office

• Teen retreat

• Farm accommodation

• Non-habitable cabin

 

or If the pod is mounted on a trailer, it can be considered an expandable caravan or tiny house, which typically does not require a building permit.

Regulations vary between councils, so we always recommend checking with your local council to confirm what applies in your area.
